This online module provides a foundational understanding of the key elements of Positive Education, including:
- The origins of Positive Education
- A brief history of Positive Psychology - the science that underpins Positive Education
- The practical framework we have developed at Geelong Grammar School
- Why Positive Education is needed in schools around the world
- How to apply Positive Education in an education setting.
This course is intended for participants in the Institute's Discovering Positive Education and Discovering More Positive Education courses, and is not a stand-alone course.
Your Instructor
The Institute of Positive Education is an initiative by Geelong Grammar School aimed at improving student wellbeing.
Our primary role is to deliver transformational educational programmes to promote wellbeing throughout the world. We aim to teach students valuable life skills on which they can increase their learning capacity and build a successful and happy life.
The Institute is also dedicated to nurturing the growth of Positive Education through the provision of training, research and development.
